While pursuing a doctoral degree in Computational Physical Chemistry at the University of Arkansas, a passion for Linux was born and a career path was forever altered.
The importance of Customer Service was ingrained while providing software support as part of a software development company that focused on banks.
Technical skills were shaped by the opportunity to rebuild the core server and WAN services for a 40-year-old company that had been acquired (for just long enough to merge all systems) and then was spun back out as a separate and private entity.
For nearly the last 20 years, Tractor Supply Co has provided a never-ending opportunity to learn and take on new challenges. From being hired as "the Windows Guy" through leading the Unix and Storage teams for more than 10 years to having the privilege to serve as an IT Director both in the Retail and Infrastructure spaces, I’ve had the chance to lead an amazing team.
